Jumping full on into starting up the café, an age-old family dream, has come true. The ever-present dinnertime dreams and ruminations of the family opening up a restaurant have at last become actualized.

Our top priority at Jax is to provide a coffee shop atmosphere with healthy, mostly organic, free-trade, animal free snacks, sweets, and drinks. You can, and should, come hang out, relax, take advantage of thefree wi-fi, and help create our community
—an animal loving, food loving oasis in the middle of Los Angeles.We also carry amazing gifts and items from caring companies like Groundworks (free-trade coffee), Herbivore (great American Apparel tee shirts and clothing) and local artisans who create special one-of-a-kind purses, earrings, necklaces and other jewelry and gift items.
And if you’re lucky you may be here when the café’s Yellow Labrador Retriever namesake, Jax, is soaking in the rays out on the patio. Feel free to bring your little four-legged companion to hang out as well!
